A Few Words From My Incredible Yogis..

Glory’s wit and charm, along with her understanding of how bodies work, have made me look forward to her classes for almost 10 years. As I was healing from breast cancer and other challenges, she helped me adapt the routines, improving my flexibility and feeling good about myself. What a wonderful teacher!

Each week, for the past 5 years, I have looked forward to our chair yoga classes with our wonderful, caring, yogi -- Glory Last. No matter what my prevailing mood or state of mind is before the class begins, Glory provides a calming, challenging and welcoming experience for one hour. I (along with my fellow classmates) emerge in a ''blissed out" state following each session. We are stretched and energized, yet calmed and better prepared to face the tasks in our real world.
Time stops in our chair yoga bubble thanks to Glory's soothing, yet stimulating guidance. She's non judgmental, yet encouraging. As a highly skilled yoga instructor, she truly cares about each student and their physical limitations. Her routines are created to address our individual concerns. Glory is the very epidemy of quiet strength and kindness. Along with the many friends that I have introduced to Glory's yoga class, we feel very fortunate that we have Glory as our coach.
Thank you Glory and .........Namaste.

A big thank you to you Glory for making "lock down" so much easier. I have been doing a couple of classes a week and it has added so much physically and emotionally. Love the pre and post chat.....really adds a sense of community.
I know the option of free online classes exists but really no comparison as you add so much to the experience. Your nurturing way and positive energy combined with you guidance and suggested adjustments makes it easy for all levels to access the practice, enjoy the experience and gain the benefit. Thanks again for great classes and for just being you... Namaste..

I have taken yoga classes for many years off and on and decided to try out
yoga thru zoom with Glory Last.
It has been amazing to have yoga in my own home instructed by one of the
best teachers I have had to date.
I love Glory's personal touch to each class she teaches. I highly recommend
trying a virtual class with Glory. You won't be sorry!

I have been practicing yoga with Glory for 20 years coming up this summer. I came to her classes as a terrified heart patient and got in a room with fellow patients much older than I was and wondered what this "yoga" thing was all about. I view the practice as a key part of my rehabilitation and transformation, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Glory's gentle but powerful classes wrapped in caring and support. I hope to be able to write another testimonial 20 years from now...

When I first met Glory Last I had NEVER taken a yoga class. Did not know what to expect. Glory made my first yoga class easy, fun, comfortable enjoyable without judgment. Her students are her number one priority, she is always thinking about their wellbeing. Always ensuring that the student works under their threshold of pain (what their body will allow them to do - to listen to their body).
Because of Glory, I fell in love with yoga that I enrolled in a Yoga Teacher Training Class for my own personal development and enjoyment. It's because of her that I am now a practicing yogi.
I highly recommend anyone who is interested in trying a yoga class to seek out Glory's class; you will NOT be disappointed. She is supportive, caring, genuine and full of wealth and wisdom. Learning to love, respect your body, others and life is what yoga is all about. ... In peace health and happiness...

I am personally so glad to put 2020 behind me. I don’t remember being so slam-dunked in a good, long while. Thank God for family, friends, terrific medical supports, and an amazing contractor to get us through the cascade of disasters that was heaped on our family this past year of plagues. 2021 will definitely be way better! That is my hope and my prayer...I am adding to my list another notable; as it were, my “secret weapon” that has helped me stay quasi sane during these uncertain times, and that Glory Last Yoga! She is the best – especially now, with the continuation and escalation of COVID spread and the measures to contain it.
I have found great solace and strength from the yoga classes with lovely, kind and capable Glory Last. I was referred by my Hebrew cantillation teacher, Happy Iscove, over a year ago - face-to-face. Remember those days? Fortunately, Glory’s classes broach the cyber divide very well, largely because Glory is such a mensch, mindful and expert at what she shares, with many years of experience under her belt. I am always amazed that I can enjoy this class remotely and get the rewards one usually receives from a regular face-to-face class. .. Glory offers a wide range of class time offerings; I promise that you will come away feeling refreshed, relaxed, and calm, having thoroughly strengthened your body, mind and spirit.

Glory creates a warm and safe atmosphere and I am so grateful for my mini-retreat that allows me to regroup. I find Chair Yoga works best for me versus Mat Yoga as I don’t have to get up and down from the floor and I still derive the same benefits. The movements of Yoga have impacted my anxiety and help me to manage and reduce any stress. Yoga not only brings me more peace of mind but also a more resilient body with increased strength and mobility.

I had a couple of in-person yoga classes with Glory before the COVID-19 lockdown happened. It was wonderful how Glory was able to move her classes from in-person to remote sessions through Zoom. Then my husband, Richard, hurt his back and he began to participate in Glory's chair yoga classes as part of his rehabilitation. I joined those classes as well and enjoyed some of the modifications to moves with which I was already familiar. Richard quickly grew strong enough to join the regular Zoom classes.
Because of Glory, yoga has become a family affair. Our 11-year-old daughter often joins yoga classes with us. Lin says, “After I do yoga with my mom and dad I always feel better mentally and physically.” Our dog and cat also routinely join us on our mats.
Glory makes personal connections with all the participants in her Zoom classes. She cares about the well-being of her yogis by asking if there are any problems she needs to know about before she begins. She is very knowledgeable and is able to share and demonstrate many alternative ways to do the same move should there be a problem.
We really enjoy our time with Glory and highly recommend her as an instructor.

I had drifted away from a rigorous Ashtanga practice due to an injury and missed yoga. One Sunday morning, I decided to attend Glory's class at Mayfair and quickly became a regular. Hatha was the perfect antidote to ashtanga and Glory was the perfect teacher. Classes are well structured and her personality made her a great match for my needs. I try to start the week with a Sunday morning yoga class.

I have been taking yoga with Glory for the last seven years with a group of friends. Glory is an excellent teacher who is very kind and thoughtful. She is always sensitive to individual needs of group members and offers modifications when required. It’s a pleasure to take her weekly classes. Her smile and sense of humour are a bonus. She has kept us all strong and limber despite the advancing years. I feel lucky to have Glory as my teacher.

I enjoy Glory’s yoga classes as a relaxing and refreshing ‘time out’ from
everything else – there’s always a friendly, positive atmosphere, never
rushed or pressured.

I've been practicing with Glory for over 20 years. Her classes are excellent. She always seems to find the perfect combination of stretch, meditation, and strength building. She is very in tune to the needs of her clients and adjusts her classes on the spot to accommodate those needs. I look forward to continuing my practice with Glory. Best yoga teacher ever!

Like many instructors on YouTube and Zoom, Glory is an experienced professional and her workouts are challenging. What sets her apart is her ability to create a feeling of joyful community in an online class. For those of us who enjoyed the social aspect of the gym or studio, Glory recreates the atmosphere we're missing by greeting everyone as they come into class, by introducing us to one another and inquiring about what's going on in our lives. She questions us about individual problems we might be having with our backs, knees, or shoulders in order to provide modifications, and she watches to make sure you modify -- just like at the gym. Also, her relaxation meditations are the best!

I have enjoyed attending Glory’s yoga classes for close to 10 yrs following my breast cancer diagnosis. Glory is an experienced and compassionate yoga instructor. She always encourages you to modify any of the yoga positions to your own comfort level.

After a serious illness, 2 major surgeries and poor posture, I was introduced to Glory.
My first session I knew right away that her focus, empathy and professionalism was what I was looking for and 5 years later I continue to be happy and see wonderful results. Restorative, strengthening, stretching, confidence building and breathing have lead me on a journey of total body awareness. Namaste..

I began practicing yoga with Glory in 2008. She is a deeply caring and knowledgeable teacher who has always nurtured my growth as a student while respecting any limitation or injury I may have. Glory's classes are a joyful experience for mind, body and soul!

Glory’s yoga class is the highlight of my week! She has such a genuine warmth about her person and teaching style that just pulls you into the practice. Her ques for modifications both to easier and harder aspects of the poses lets you choose how far you want to reach that day. I always feel so relaxed yet stronger after her classes. I feel blessed to have connected with Glory and her yoga experiences.
